These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the FormTech website and your purchase of products and services from FormTech (operating under Bilal Naeem Design Studio), Lahore, Pakistan. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About us
FormTech is a parametric CNC furniture and fabrication studio based in Lahore, Pakistan. All pieces are designed, nested, CNC-cut and assembled in our own workshop. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean FormTech; references to "you" mean the person browsing the site or placing an order.
2. Products & made-to-order
Our furniture is made to order. We do not hold ready stock, and each piece is fabricated after an order is confirmed. Because pieces are produced from natural birch plywood, slight variations in grain, tone and finish are inherent to the material and are not considered defects.
Product images, renders and dimensions on this website are provided as an accurate guide, but minor differences between the displayed image and the finished, hand-finished piece may occur.
3. Quotations & pricing
Prices are provided by quotation on enquiry and are valid for the period stated in the quote. All prices are exclusive of delivery, installation and any applicable taxes or duties unless expressly stated otherwise. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time before an order is confirmed.
4. Orders & payment
An order is confirmed once you accept a quotation and pay the required advance. Fabrication does not begin until the advance payment is received. The balance is payable as set out in your quotation, typically before dispatch or delivery. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order.
5. Lead times & delivery
Indicative lead time for most pieces is around ten days from order confirmation, though this may vary with order size and workshop scheduling. Lead times are estimates and not guarantees. Delivery arrangements, timelines and charges are confirmed on a per-order basis.
6. Bespoke & commissioned work
For bespoke or made-to-measure commissions, specifications are agreed in writing before fabrication. Because bespoke pieces are produced to your specification, they cannot be cancelled once fabrication has begun, and advance payments for bespoke work are non-refundable except where a piece is defective.
7. Cancellations & returns
As all pieces are made to order, cancellations are only possible before fabrication begins. Once cutting has started, orders cannot be cancelled. If a piece arrives with a genuine manufacturing defect, contact us promptly and we will work with you to repair or remake it. Normal variation in natural wood is not a defect.
8. Care & use
Our birch plywood pieces are built to last with proper care. They are intended for the use described at the time of sale. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, exposure to unsuitable conditions, or unauthorised modification is not covered by any remedy offered by us.
9. Intellectual property
All designs, geometry, renders, text, images and other content on this website are the property of FormTech and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our designs or content without our prior written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FormTech shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or our products. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore.
