Built on a hunch that geometry could be honest.
FormTech began in Lahore in 2024, founded by architect Bilal Naeem, as a question: what happens when furniture is drawn the way a building is — modeled, tested and resolved in software before a single sheet of plywood is touched?
Bilal graduated in architecture from Beaconhouse National University in 2019 and opened his own practice the year after. FormTech extends that discipline into furniture — the same rigour, at the scale of an object you can sit in.
The name is literal. Form is the discipline — proportion, curvature, structural honesty. Tech is the method — Grasshopper models, nested toolpaths, flat-cut construction. Every piece sits at that intersection: fabricated in-house, and finished by hand.
